Project Description
This was a school project where we were tasked with redesigning a vegetation trimming robot. The original model we were given was bulky and intimidating, so we aimed for a form that felt natural and unobtrusive—something that would feel at home in a park or green space. Through rigorous ideation and iteration, we explored ways to better integrate the robot into its environment. The initial concept had two arms, but we quickly realized only one was necessary for trimming. That insight sparked a new idea: what if the arm could grow out like a sprout? This led to the creation of a seed-inspired body—an organic shape that harmonizes with nature. The final design is a thoughtful blend of form and function, capturing the essence of nature in both its utility and aesthetic.

My Reflections & Learnings
Learned how to 3D model on Fusion360 really well because of this project. Also used AI in the ideation, and iteration process.
